Sure, Supertown is home to over 30 Gay Bars and close to 20 Restaurants, but there are many other businesses here as well! If you are visiting Thailand and staying in Supertown, there are services here you might want to know about. First, if you prefer to do your own Laundry instead of sending it out through the hotel, there is a Coin Laundry located next to the Agate Hotel . There are both washers and dryers available. Break your eyeglasses? No worry, Asean Optical will get you back in gear. It's located under the Car Park across from the coin laundry. Need Travel Help?  Travel Everyday can book your flights & Hotels. It's located just down the street from The Agate Hotel. Cannabis Shops are springing up all over Thailand. If weed  is your thing, Bong's will mellow you out! If you are in need of a Haircut, Focards Barber Shop can do the trick! It's very popular so the best times to book are in the morning. Gay Pride Returns in June

  Mark your Calendars because Gay Pride Celebrations return to Supertown on June 10th, 2023 ! The event is sponsored by SWING (Service Workers In Group).  SWING is a Thailand-based charity that promotes and protects the health, human rights, and dignity of sex workers of all genders, cultures, and nationalities.  They have three peer-led drop-in centers in tourist hotspots in Thailand and facilitate access to healthcare services for the LGBT community, with a primary focus on HIV and AIDS treatment. SWING also provides education and advocacy for the prevention of exploitation. Over the past 10 years, SWING has expanded its coverage to include issues that affect male and transgender sex workers. The Event will kick off at 3 pm in the afternoon. Details are being finalized as this is being written and this post will be updated as details become available. It was a popular R&R spot for American Troops during the Viet Nam War and has grown substantially in the past thirty years. Initially little more than a fishing village, now high rise Condos dot the landscape where bungalows & small guesthouses once stood.
